One of the UK's largest software firms, Slough-based IRIS Software Group, has made a significant acquisition by buying up the Irish payroll company Paycheck Plus, the business magazine reports.

With clients across Ireland, Britain, Europe and the US, Paycheck has fast grown to be more than Ireland’s premier payroll services provider. Their extensive range of payroll outsourcing services made the company an attractive proposition for IRIS.

Addressing the acquisition, Anne Reilly - CEO and founder of Drogheda-based Paycheck Plus - said, “Since 2005, our mission has been to help our clients be their best by ensuring their payroll function is outstanding. I am incredibly proud to lead Paycheck Plus into its next stage of growth and I know IRIS is an incredibly safe pair of hands for both our customers and colleagues.”
