[Malaysia] Activpayroll acquires Propay Partners for APAC growth

Activpayroll - a human resources tech firm - has acquired Malaysia-based Propay Partners to boost Activpayroll's growth in the Asia-Pacific region, Tech in Asia reports.

In a statement, Activpayroll said that before this deal, it had partnered with Propay Partners for more than a decade. Propay offers payroll outsourcing and employee mobility services, 

UK-based Activpayroll was founded in 1999 by Alison Sellar. It offers global services in employee payroll, human resources, international payments and employee mobility to more than 1,200 companies across 154 countries. The firm currently has 18 offices across five continents.

Propay Partners was founded in 2001 by Manish Mehta and Raj Kumar Paramanathan. Covering multinational companies in Asia, its clients include Siemens, General Electric, Unilever, Coca-Cola, and BMW.

The global human resource tech market is poised to reach US$38.4 billion by 2030 at a compound annual growth rate of 5.7 per cent.
