NGA HR UK & Ireland transforms into Zellis

NGA HR UK & Ireland has rebranded itself as Zellis after being spun off from former parent company NGA Human Resources in February 2018 and sold to global investment firm, Bain Capital. 

The company replaced former chief executive Jonathan Legdon, who had been with the company for 16 years, with former BT executive John Petter in July last year.  But the rebranding exercise has taken it nearly a year.

Andy Monshaw, NGA HR’s chief executive, said: “The move is mutually beneficial to both parties. Zellis are able to invest in areas which are important to growth in the UK and Ireland, while we continue to work together to support international clients.”

Zellis’ Petter also confirmed that its former parent company would remain a “vital strategic partner”. “We are delighted to confirm that we will continue to work with NGA to serve the needs of their global customers in the UK and Ireland,” he said.

 Over the next few months, the company also plans to brief its customers about a “series of investments in exciting, new technologies like robotics and AI”, he added.

Zellis, which has nearly 2,000 staff, provides HR, payroll and managed services and software to companies with more than 500 employees. It caters to the needs of more than five million employees in the UK and Ireland through its ResourceLink, MoorePay and Benefex brands.
