Pension Schemes Newsletters June 2018

HMRC published has published two pensions’ newsletters this month, updating stakeholders on the latest news for pension schemes. 

The Manage and Register Pension Schemes newsletter on the 4^th of June is devoted to the launch of the Manage and Register Pension Schemes service for registering as a pension scheme administrator or applying to register a pension scheme.

The Pensions Schemes newsletter 100 on the 29^th of June that has articles on:

• The Manage and Register Pension Schemes service
• Transferring pensions savings from one registered schemes to another
• The Annual Allowance calculator and how this will be up and running in July 2018
• Relief at Source schemes information including annual returns of information for 2017/18 and amendments to forms and templates
• Changes to the recognised overseas pension schemes (QROPS) notifications list from July 2018
• The taxation and reporting via Real Time Information of pension payments that have been flexibly accessed
• Reporting multiple small pots payments
