Payroll: Then vs Now 3- Remote Working and what that means for Payroll – “walk in the park” or “walk off a cliff”?

In the last two years the pandemic has completely disrupted the ongoing and routine practices of a Payroll Professional or the HR practices in general forcing them to enter a novel work environment which no one could ever imagine.

Working remotely has certainly brought many challenges to the Payroll teams and their functioning but the superheroes at work were able to cope up with all the different challenges thrown at them to make sure that the employees get access to their accurate pay whenever its due.

In the third episode of our Payroll: Then vs Now series Sachin invites Christine Budd who has over 30 years of experience leading operations at an executive level for Payroll and Human Resource Management to discuss how can payroll professionals and payroll teams improve their efficiency in this remote working environment.

Join us in this webinar as we explore the following topics:

  • How the general working flexibility that has come into play works within payroll divisions and teams?
  • Managing a team working remotely and still delivering quality and accurate and timely multi-country payroll.
  • How to stay connected and what techniques have been successful and which ones have failed?
  • The cultural difference between The West and The East when it comes to remote working and expectations, and infrastructure.
