Members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) can now check their compensation and benefits via a newly created military app, Canadian Military Family Magazine reports.
A memo from the Canadian military announced that the new Compensation and Benefits app is in its initial release.
“The initial release of the app allows for active members to view their payroll from their personal device. This information will also remain available through the employee access application,” CANFORGEN 146/24 read.
Military members can reportedly use the app in several ways. They can access pay statements and manage finances by viewing and printing pay statements and users can also register to receive notifications for new statements.
In addition, from 2025 active CAF members will be able to view their income statements.
The app will provide further capabilities in the future, such as enabling Class A Reserve Force members’ attendance submission instead of the current sign-in form.
Military members can access the app after a single sign-on process through D365. This requires an active Defence Microsoft Office D365 account. Members must authenticate their information on the first sign-on, according to the memo.
The app is available for download on Google Play for Android and Apple App Store for IOS platforms. More detailed instructions are available on the CAF Compensation Benefits Mobile App website here.
