[Isle of Man] Proposed employment legislation shake-up

A shake-up of employment legislation is on the way In the Isle of Man, with support from the business community and citizens, Isle of Man Today reports.

The Department for Enterprise is proposing a number of changes to employment law after receiving support for a broad range of reforms following a public consultation.

The consultations reportedly covered areas such as family rights, zero-hours contracts, and whistleblowing. They were conducted by the department in the summer of 2022 and sought views from both the business community and the general public on proposals to reform legislation on these matters in the Isle of Man.
