Global payroll and HR services provider SD Worx is taking over international HR service provider Flexpoint Group for an undisclosed sum.
The Flexpoint Group consists of Flexpoint, Easymatch Payrolling, Equipe, Trento Engineering, Trace and Redirect, which all operate in the fields of temp work, secondment, recruitment and selection, career guidance, outplacement, payroll for temps and HR consultancy. Altogether, the Group has more than 240 full-time employees, with around fifty branches in Belgium and the Netherlands.
SD Worx Holding’s chairman Filip Dierckx More said that more and more companies were using self-employed staff for temporary projects.
"There are, therefore, still a lot of growth opportunities in the staffing market, which goes beyond mere temp work. Consider, for example, recruitment and selection, assessment, project sourcing and outplacement, all specialisations which the Flexpoint Group has," he added.
SD Worx ambition was to be one of the top five firms in Belgium in staffing terms and to achieve significant growth outside of the country by 2022. “This means that we are looking for talent to help achieve this growth," Dierckx said.
SD Worx is taking over all of Flexpoint Group’s company shares. Two of the five shareholders will remain with the supplier: current chief executive, Jos Gilissen, will become a member of SD Worx board of directors and Erwin Vogelzang will become a commercial consultant. The remaining three shareholders have not been operationally active for some time and will now effectively leave the company.
The take-over will be concluded once the competition authorities have given their approval, but SD Worx declined to say how much its acquisition would cost.
