[Oman] Expats deported for violating Labour Law

A number of expatriates have been arrested and many deported from the Sultanate of Oman for violating the Labour Law in the period from June 1 to June 30, 2023, Times of Oman

In a statement, the Ministry said, "The Ministry of Labour, represented by the Office of the Joint Inspection Team at the Directorate General of Labour in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, conducted inspection campaigns on 192 establishments in the governorate during the period from June 1-30, 2023. 101 workers were arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labour Law. Legal action is being taken."

In addition, the Ministry stated that 98 workers who were in violation of the Labour Law were deported.
