07 Sep 2021
We are delighted to announce that the GPA has appointed Lee McIntyre-Hamilton as our resident global mobility tax expert. Lee brings our members over 20 years' experience in all aspects of global mobility tax and social security, supporting employers of all sizes across many sectors.

As well as working with several Top 10 UK accounting firms, Lee has written for the Tiley & Collison's UK Tax Guide, has acted as an expert witness in global mobility tax cases, is a member of the HMRC Expatriate Tax Forum and has presented at numerous leading industry events, including those hosted by GPA. Lee is currently a Partner at Keystone Law.

A focus on the payroll aspects of global mobility tax

Lee is focused on bringing GPA members an increased emphasis on the payroll aspects of global mobility tax and regular global mobility tax news that may affect payroll in the UK and globally.

Lee is also keen to enhance the global mobility tax knowledge of members and, to this end, will be delivering an ongoing series of live webinars on key global mobility tax matters for payroll specialists. Alongside this, Lee is also leading a series of seminars over the next year on globally remote workers which will involve other leasing industry specialists across global HR, immigration and employment law.

Last but not least, we are delighted to announce that all members will be entitled to 30 minutes free global mobility tax guidance per annum from Lee. Lee may be contacted at lee@globalpayrollassociation.com

Melanie Pizzey commented "I am delighted that Lee has agreed to support the GPA and our members. Having worked with Lee on several of our events over the last five years, what impressed us most about Lee is his ability to explain complex issues in a straightforward, clear and practical way. I know that his appointment will be very helpful for members who grapple with global mobility tax matters."

Lee commented:  "I have always enjoyed working with Mel and the team at the GPA on seminars and articles. We share the same practical and down to earth approach to all that we do. So, I am excited and really looking forward to working more closely with them and supporting members over the coming years!".
