Every week I discover that many LinkedIn users, some who have had accounts for years, are often unaware of some extremely useful features that the online professional networking site LinkedIn has to offer. Here are ten ways to better apply LinkedIn to your business:

Where will people view your content?

50 per cent of LinkedIn views are via mobile devices. This means people are reading your updates when they’re on the move, so when people are commuting is an ideal posting time. Is your website mobile responsive if they click through?

Raise your brand profile

LinkedIn is rolling out a new publishing option, so that you can share your expertise, just like Richard Branson does, and have other non-connected members follow you.

Targeted marketing

You can share sponsored (paid for) updates sponsored (paid for) updates that appear in the news feeds of targeted business contacts - a great way to get your services in front of your target audience.

LinkedIn is rolling out a significant update to its ‘Who Viewed my profile’ feature significant update to its ‘Who Viewed my profile’ feature.
